Humorous Wooden Coasters

As mentioned in my previous post about slate coasters; coasters are always a great gift.

Even when people don’t necessarily use them for the purpose they’re intended for; which is to put hot or  cold drinks on; coasters with a fun or humorous design often become a topic of discussion amongst guests. It puts smiles on people’s faces and serves as inspiration to share stories and jokes, which in my book makes them a truly unique and special gift.

These coasters are made of acacia wood from the acacia tree, which is one of the most beautiful trees in the African bushveld.

And since Africa is very much in my blood, I have to admit that working with acacia wood, gives me great pleasure and a sense of nostalgia.

When you order from us, we will even engrave a short personal message on the back of the coasters.

We’ve created coasters with English, Afrikaans and Dutch text designs for various occasions.

Dimensions are: 10cm x 10cm x 1cm

You can either order them in sets of 4 or separately.

Note: most designs are interchangeable. In other words, if you find a design you like on for instance a cutting board or slate or bamboo coaster, but you would like it on a wooden coaster, then providing that the design will not become too small to put on a coaster, we will put it on a coaster for you.
